Today, I took on the challenge of cutting my hair off before it decides to take control over me. I had a handful of my closest friends over to help ease the pain. It was a very emotional day and I would say the reality that I have cancer finally set in as it might have for some of you too. Every time I look in the mirror I see a totally different woman than before. As stupid as it sounds, I always put pride in my hair and looks, and now I feel like that is all out the window.
However, I keep reminding myself of the kind words that were said today. I was able to find the courage to cut my hair because of all of you ladies and those who could not make it today as well. Your strength and friendships made me realize I can do this and make it work for me. I thank you all for being amazing friends and taking on this journey with me. I know it was not easy for all of you to see me upset and facing this challenge. But we got through it and will continue to.
Also I would like to say thank you to all of you out there that have sent thoughtful messages and prayers. I am amazed at the support that has come through. I didn't know that I had that many followers/fans. Thank you and please continue to guide me through this journey.
I love you all!P.S. All of the scarves are perfect and will help tremendously. And to Adam thank you for the plethora of hoop earring's. My outfits will now be complete. I love you!
